Out-of-State Drivers

Texas Attorney for Out-of-State Drivers

Are you an out-of-state driver who has been issued a traffic ticket in Texas? Whether you have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a standard driver's license, you don't need to return to Texas to fight your ticket. I am attorney Jack Byno, and from my offices in Bedford, Texas, I have been representing out-of- state drivers with traffic violations in the greater Dallas - Fort Worth area for over a decade.

Unlike in-state drivers, you may not be able to complete defensive driving training as a way of reducing your fine and keeping your insurance rates down. There is a limit to the things you can do to fight your ticket, but you still have options:

  • You can plead guilty and pay your fine, which puts it on your record.
  • You can plead not-guilty and have a trial, which is not practical considering your location.
  • You may be able to enter probation, which will keep the violation off your record and keep your insurance rates down. However, in order to do this you need someone to go to court on your behalf. That is where I can help.

Out-of-State CDL Holder

If you drive for a living, you rely on your commercial driver's license (CDL). The last thing you want is a traffic violation or speeding ticket, especially if that violation occurred thousands of miles away from your home. There are serious potential consequences for out of state CDL holders, but I can go to court on your behalf to keep your record as clean as possible.
