NTTA Violations

North Texas Transportation Authority Violations Attorney

TollTag Violations · Running Tolls · Failure to Pay Tolls

The North Texas Transportation Authority (NTTA) maintains the operation of toll roads in North Texas. Many individuals choose to pay toll fees via cashless tolling, using a Toll Tag that is registered to a specific vehicle. Every time that vehicle passes through a toll, the owner's account is debited.

Individuals who do not have a Toll Tag must also pay toll fees. The owner of the vehicle will receive a bill in the mail from NTTA. Failure to pay the bill may result in collection fees by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). These fees can accumulate quickly, and the owner of the vehicle may find himself or herself facing thousands of dollars in fines. If you have received a letter from the NTTA saying that you owe money, contact my law office to discuss your options. We may be able to work out a deal with the NTTA to cut down on these costly fines.

If you fail to pay collection fees, you may be of interest to authorities. Citation fees may be issued. If you fail to pay citation fees, a bench warrant may be issued for your arrest. Ignoring these tickets will not make them go away. It is advisable to take immediate legal action and speak to a lawyer to learn about your options.

At any stage, please do not hesitate to contact me, attorney Jack Byno, to learn how I can help. I have helped numerous people avoid costly fines and fees for NTTA violations. While there are often options to resolve these issues outside of court, I have significant experience representing clients facing NTTA violations in Plano courts and other courts in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. My experience can help minimize the consequences of your traffic violation and lift the warrant for your arrest.
