In Pantego, CDL Drivers Take Trucking Violations to Court

Pantego police, and law enforcement elsewhere in Tarrant County, Texas, write traffic tickets to drivers each and every day. There are a number of possible reasons that a driver may be written a traffic violation, ranging from speeding or an over weight violation to disregarding a traffic control device. No matter whether you have been written a citation as a Class C driver or a CDL holder, you must respond to your violation by the date it is due, either pleading guilty to it or disputing it in a court of law. But in the case that you do happen to hold a commercial driver’s license (CDL) for work as a trucker or other professional driver, you may be slow to plead guilty to your Pantego charges, even though this may be the easiest course of action for you to take. This is for the fact that you as a commercial driver are most likely required to maintain your clean driving record, as proof of your ability to drive safely while on the job. Even though it may be in your better interest (and in the best interest of your career) to challenge your violation instead, you may be hesitant to do so on your own. This is where Jack Byno & Associates may be of service to you.

Our traffic law firm has been in practice in Tarrant County since 1994, and our lawyers are reputable among Class C and CDL drivers alike. If you choose to dispute your Pantego trucking violation in court, and also choose to hire us to assist you in doing so, we may challenge your charges in one of two ways:

  • By pleading your case for a possible deal (in lieu of points added to your record)
  • By fighting your ticket at trial (in hopes of getting it dismissed)

Please note: While your case remains in court, we would advise you to remain aware of traffic law at all times should you continue to drive with your CDL. Also, keep in mind the D.O.T. stops along your work route.

When Pantego CDL Violations Go Into Warrant

When a trucker or other professional motorist is subjected to a traffic stop in Pantego, Texas, and written a CDL or trucking violation by law enforcement, it is the responsibility of that CDL driver to respond to their violation by the date that it is due. If you have been written a CDL violation in Pantego, but forget about your ticket or otherwise do not respond to it in due time, the Pantego Municipal Court may be prompted to issue you a traffic warrant as a penalty. A traffic warrant issued for you by the court is a warrant for your arrest, and will eventually lead to your arrest and incarceration unless lifted. Are you now looking to get your warrant lifted in hopes of avoiding arrest (and of defending your means of living)? Are you uncertain as to how you should go about doing so? Then pick up the phone and call the Law Office of Attorney Jack Byno. On behalf of our eligible Class C and CDL clients, we offer to lift outstanding warrants and post bonds for them. If you hire us to lift your traffic warrant for you, and if we are able to do so successfully, your arrest will no longer be imminent. If we are also able to post bond for you, it will essentially serve as a promise from our law firm to appear in court later as your legal representatives.
